L'Ensemble Vocal Christine Paillard is intended for adults in the Parisian region, who wish to work seriously from a vocal point of view as well as in rhythmic precision, melodious and sensitive expression.

The repertoire of the EVCP is quite varied (baroque, classical, romantic or even operetta, contemporary, opera chorus, humoristic fantasia). The EVCP performs regularly with well known orchestras, both in France and abroad. The rehearsals take place one weekend per month and selectively by voice section, at Longpont sur Orge (Essonne).

L'Ensemble Vocal Cant'Ouvèze consists of some 40 choristers from the southern part of the Drôme and the northern Vaucluse. All of them are amateurs, the admission is based on no other selection criteria apart from a good ear for music.

The only demand is regular precence at our weekly rehearsals and serious work. Every 3 months, we organise a weekend rehearsal as well. Cant’Ouvèze collaborates with musicians, soloists and professional orchestras, giving concerts, most often together with the Ensemble Vocal Christine Paillard.

L’Ensemble vocal et instrumental Luscinia consists of 8 singers, 3 string instruments and a harpsichord player, either professionals or amateurs working on a semi-professional level. Its repertoire, in 2008 dedicated to sacred music from the 17th and 18th centuries, is nowadays more directed towards romantic and contemporary music. In 2010, Luscinia will give a performance in collaboration with a theatrical group.

Le chœur de chambre Calliopée consists of 9 female singers, most of them also involved in Cant’Ouvèze, explores with the same demands the classical repertoire, unaccompanied or just with organ, both sacred and profane.

The ambition of this choir of 3 to 9 voices, depending on the work interpreted, is to share with music-lovers the richness of polyphonic traditional music from all parts of the world and from all periods.

Thus Calliopée can give concerts with quite a broad range of presentation: intimate family concerts, or more complete programs, throughout the year.
